William Boone "Billy" Daniels
September 12 1915 - October 7 1988
Billy Daniels is probably best remembered for his hit recording of Johnny Mercer and Harold Arlen's standard "That Old Black Magic."
He was also the host of his own television show during the early '50s and a very popular nightclub performer who worked all over the world.


He also appeared in a few films, mostly during the '40s and early '50s.
He got his start in 1933 while working as a singing waiter in New York.
